CLMS / DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE

Custom 3D printing for enclosures and accessories

Need an enclosure, a bracket, an adapter or a first part to check before committing to a design? CLMS offers filament-based FDM 3D printing and mechanical CAD design. We make individual parts and short runs. Bring a model or describe the task; we will assess whether printing is suitable and propose a defined manufacturing scope.

Design the print around its job

We print enclosure bodies and covers, electronics mounts, adapters, workstation aids and prototypes of power tool accessories. A functional part needs more than the right appearance. We establish its orientation, loading direction, connections and access to fasteners. A model used only to assess shape can need a different construction from a part intended for working use.

Depending on the design, threaded inserts, steel screws or a machined plate can form part of the assembly. This lets the printed component serve a specific purpose without requiring it to replace every other material in the construction.

More than a choice of infill percentage

PLA and PETG are common starting points, but selection depends on the use. Temperature, sunlight, chemicals and loads need to be defined before manufacture. Other filaments can be considered after checking project requirements and process suitability. CNC-machined engineering plastics such as PE1000 or POM are a separate material route.

A printed part’s strength also depends on layer orientation, wall thickness and joint geometry. Visible layers are a characteristic of FDM. Where finish, fit or loading calls for another approach, we may suggest a design change or combining the print with a machined part. Setting solid infill does not replace these decisions.

Request a print or a design quote

State the application, approximate dimensions, quantity, loads and required date. Start through the enquiry form with a description, photographs or a STEP file. For STL or 3MF, paste a file link into the dedicated form field and allow access through the link or for kontakt@clms.pl. Pricing depends on model preparation, material, printing time and finishing work.

From enquiry to manufacture

Tell us how the part will be used and send what you have: photographs, a sketch or technical files. We assess feasibility, clarify the requirements and quote the scope, price and lead time. Design, prototype manufacture and any revisions are defined in the offer. Work starts after you accept it. For a new design, we also agree what to check on the first part before producing a further batch.

Before you order

Can you make a part without an existing model?

Yes. We agree the CAD design scope from measurements, a sketch and the required function. Design and the subsequent print are specified in the offer before work starts.

Can a printed component replace a metal part?

Sometimes, after assessing loads, temperature and attachment. Materials are not assumed to be interchangeable. We may propose a printed fit-check model, a CNC-machined part or an assembly that combines both processes.

Made in Poland; EU enquiries welcome

CLMS is based in Starogard Gdański, Poland. We accept enquiries from Poland and selected EU countries. State your delivery country so that we can confirm availability, cost and shipping arrangements in the quote. Workshop visits and sending parts or power tools for measurement are by prior arrangement.
