Custom electronics enclosures and front panels
Have a circuit board, display and connectors, but no enclosure that fits? CLMS designs and makes small electronics enclosures around your components, controls and mounting requirements. We handle one-off housings, prototypes and short runs. Start with photographs and dimensions; you do not need a finished CAD model to discuss the project and obtain an initial quotation.
A place for every component
We design enclosure bodies, covers, front panels, PCB mounts and assembly parts. The layout accounts for access to buttons, the display and connectors, as well as cable routing. Typical enquiries include small controllers, electronic modules, auxiliary devices and prototypes. Opening the enclosure, maintaining the device and securing it in use are part of the mechanical brief.
A new housing is not always necessary. If you already have a stock enclosure, we can assess machining cut-outs, fitting a replacement panel or adding mounting parts. This can reduce design work while retaining the dimensions of an existing enclosure.
Combine the processes your design needs
An enclosure can combine a printed body, a CNC-machined aluminium or plastic panel, metal fasteners and engraved labels. PMMA may suit windows and clear panels; polycarbonate may be considered where impact resistance matters. POM, PA and other engineering plastics are selected for the function of internal components. The grade, thickness and finish are agreed for the job.
Heat from the electronics, ventilation, moisture and mechanical loads affect the design. Tell us at the outset about required sealing, resistance or testing. These properties are not established simply by choosing a particular material.
What to send for an enclosure quote
Include photographs and dimensions of the boards, display and connectors; a layout sketch; and details of the operating environment and mounting. State the quantity, required date and dimensions that cannot change. STEP, DXF or a dimensioned drawing are useful if available. This helps us separate the design work from the cost of making the parts.
From enquiry to manufacture
Tell us how the part will be used and send what you have: photographs, a sketch or technical files. We assess feasibility, clarify the requirements and quote the scope, price and lead time. Design, prototype manufacture and any revisions are defined in the offer. Work starts after you accept it. For a new design, we also agree what to check on the first part before producing a further batch.
Before you order
Can I order just one custom enclosure?
Yes. A one-off enclosure or prototype is within our scope. The quote covers the agreed design work and manufacture; preparation for later copies may differ.
Can you machine an enclosure I already own?
We first check the material, geometry and workholding. Send photographs, dimensions and the proposed cut-out layout. We will confirm the scope and delivery arrangements before you send the enclosure.

CLMS is based in Starogard Gdański, Poland. We accept enquiries from Poland and selected EU countries. State your delivery country so that we can confirm availability, cost and shipping arrangements in the quote. Workshop visits and sending parts or power tools for measurement are by prior arrangement.
