CLMS / DESIGN & MANUFACTURE
Custom guides and mounting fixtures
Guide the tool along the required path. Position the workpiece and lock it in place. We design guides, carriages, brackets and supports to fit your rail, table or equipment.
Describe your guide or mountDescribe the task and tell us the equipment model. No technical drawing is needed. Sending an enquiry is free and does not place an order.
Positioning, movement and locking designed together
A carriage needs the required travel; a lock needs to hold the setting during work. We design these together with support and adjustment access. The scope can cover a single bracket, a parallel guide or a complete assembly with stops.
Machined aluminium components work with selected rails, bearings and clamps. Replaceable sliding pads or contact inserts are specified for pressure, wear and operating conditions, using PE500, PE1000, POM, PET or other suitable materials.
01 / THE NEED
From one bracket to a guide assembly
- A carriage or connector for an existing rail and tool base.
- An adjustable stop, parallel fence or workpiece reference.
- An equipment bracket for a table, stand or existing structure.
- Supports, sliding pads and clamps that improve positioning.
02 / THE FIT
Show the movement path and mounting points
Mark on a photo what should move and what should stay fixed. Add rail or profile dimensions if known.
- A photo of the workstation, tool, rail or connecting part.
- Available holes, profiles and mounting surfaces.
- Direction and required travel or adjustment range.
- Approximate weight and loading during operation.
- Locking needs, access and exposure to dust or coolant.
Working with your existing rail and table
For Makita, Festool, Bosch, DeWalt and other systems, we check the rail profile and available space. The design accounts for clamps, cables and adjustment access. For a custom workstation, show us its geometry and the movement you need.
Load, allowable play and verification are defined in the project requirements. The trial covers movement, locking and operation under the agreed conditions.

A first design that could help other users too?
Selected first designs may qualify for our catalogue development programme. Participation and scope require prior agreement with CLMS. Submitting a request does not grant a free prototype — read the terms and describe your need.
Before you send a request
Can a bracket be matched to my existing rail?
Yes, after identifying its profile and dimensions. Photos of markings and the cross-section start the assessment; measurements or a rail sample may be needed.
Can a sliding pad be replaced later?
We can design replaceable contact parts. Material, fixing, screw access and restoring the setting after replacement are then specified.
Do you only make router guides?
No. You can submit a mounting, support or guide for other equipment or a workstation. We assess function, dimensions and conditions.
Tell us the task. We will handle the design.
Send a description and a photo if you have one. You will receive the proposed solution, scope and price before work starts.
