Custom power tool and machine attachments
Extend the capabilities of the equipment you already own. We design attachments to guide a tool, support a workpiece or repeat a setting. Structure, adjustment and mounting are developed together, as a single module or a complete assembly.

From a required function to a complete attachment
An attachment can combine a base, carriage, stop, holder and replaceable working parts. We begin with the operation: what you need to guide, support, position or lock. Then we develop the movement, adjustment range and access for the operator.
The CAD design combines custom parts with selected rails, bearings and fasteners. Machined aluminium is paired with materials suited to workpiece contact, from sliding plastics to flexible inserts. Replaceable working parts can allow the design to accommodate further variations of the task.

Describe the result you need
You do not need to know the attachment’s name. Start with the task, a photo of the equipment and what it needs to work with.
- Equipment manufacturer, model and mounting photos.
- What must move, rotate, rest against a surface or stop.
- Workpiece dimensions, approximate weight and available space.
- Required positions, adjustment range and locking method.
- Working conditions, usage frequency and current limitations.
Matched to the complete workstation
We design around actual mounting points, workpiece space and movement. Enquiries can concern Makita, Bosch, DeWalt, Festool or other equipment; the specific model and task determine the construction.
The trial scope is agreed before manufacture: installation, movement, adjustment and stability under the defined load. We account for existing guards and access to controls.

A first design that could help other users too?
Selected first designs may qualify for our catalogue development programme. Participation and scope require prior agreement with CLMS. Submitting a request does not grant a free prototype — read the terms and describe your need.
Before you send a request
Do you only design router attachments?
No. Routers are one example. You can submit an attachment for another power tool, workshop machine or workstation. We assess scope and manufacturing feasibility.
Can you upgrade an attachment I already own?
Yes. Show us the arrangement and explain its limitations. We can propose revised components or a new assembly. Scope and materials are quoted first.
How does the project proceed?
We first agree requirements, design and price. For a new assembly we also agree a prototype trial. Final manufacture follows approval of the relevant stage.
